Many events do not have the benefit of facility staff to take down the course when the event is over. Who does the job fall to? You guessed it – volunteers. At the recent Pine Hill Driving Trial, Heidi Gaddis demonstrated the parts of the job. Dressed appropriately for the Texas sun with sunglasses, big hat and long sleeves (over her volunteer t-shirt), she holds a drill for removing signs, a red gate, a fistful of stakes, and a directional arrow.
